Follow the directions below to prepare delicious and soft flanken or club steaks for Pesach using limited processed ingredients. Their sweetness comes from the onions, which are roasted in the pan first, before the meat is added.
2 slices club steak
1 large onion
1/4 cup oil
1 cup chicken soup, such as Manischewitz Chicken Broth
1/3 cup red cooking wine, such as Tuscanini
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 packs flanken, bone in

1 cup white cooking wine, such as Tuscanini
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice onion and place in pan with a quarter cup oil. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
Rub salt and pepper on meat. Add meat to pan with rest of ingredients.
Bake two and a half to three hours or until soft.
