Fill a wrap with yummy fried onions mixed with turkey and sweet chili sauce, then bread and fry it whole! Healthful it is not, but as an occasional treat, it is So. Good.
Yield: 4 wraps
1 (12-ounce) package Tirat Zvi Mexican Style Turkey Breast, diced
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
4 wraps
1 egg, beaten
1 cup Gefen Bread Crumbs
oil for frying
Add diced turkey, onion, and sweet chili sauce to a frying pan. Sauté for five minutes.
Set egg and breadcrumbs in two separate plates or shallow bowls.
Place turkey filling in the center of a wrap. Fold in the sides, then roll it up. Continue with remaining wraps and filling.
Dip in egg, then bread crumbs. Fry for about one minute per side, seam-side down. (You could also fry these in a deep fryer- just put the wrap seam-side down on the insert before lowering the insert into the oil.)
