Submitted by Sari Hoch
package of chopped meat
2 packages 10 square dough
onion
duck sauce
spices
poppy seeds
Sauté onion until golden, mix in chopped meat and sauté until done. Add some onion powder, garlic powder, ketchup and duck sauce.
Put a spoonful of meat mixture into 15 dough squares and fold into triangle shapes. Take the remaining five squares and cut each into three strips. Spread some of the meat mixture in each strip and roll up jelly-roll fashion.
Cut a slot on the long flat side of the triangle and place a rolled up strip in the slot and smooth the dough around.
Make a nun or a gimmel shape on the face of the triangle using an egg brush and sprinkle on poppy seeds. Do one at a time so the egg doesn’t dry out before sprinkling the poppy seeds on.
Bake on 350 degrees Fahrenheit till nicely browned (about half an hour). Enjoy!
