  • 16 ounces split peas

  • 4 quarts water, rounded

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

  • 1/4 cup consomme

  • 32 ounces frozen soup vegetables

Directions

Make the Soup

1.

In an eight-quart pot add split peas, water and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and add frozen vegetables and consomme.

2.

Cook for 75 minutes, semi-covered.
