Bright, fresh asparagus covered in the one most perfect seasoning…everything spice. Roasted up to a perfect, tender-crisp, this Everything Asparagus recipe will perk up any weeknight dinner!
Line a sheet pan with parchment. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hold the asparagus at each end and bend gently until the hard bottom part of the stalk snaps off. Do this for all of the asparagus stalks.
Drizzle the oil over the asparagus. Sprinkle on the seasonings.
Use your hands to toss the ingredients all together. Smooth the asparagus back into a single layer.
Roast in the oven for 20–30 minutes until it’s tender-crisp. Then remove from heat and serve either hot or room temperature.
This dish can be frozen, but I don’t love what happens to the texture. It becomes more flaccid on second heating, so ideally serve fresh and not made in advance.
To clean green asparagus from insects, the tips as well as the triangular side leaves should be cut off and discarded. Alternatively, use frozen asparagus with a reliable hechsher. Thaw and skip step 2.
