I make this for Mishloach Manos every year and it’s always a hit! There’s never a crumb left on the plate! It’s also very freezer friendly, so it’s a win-win for everyone!
1 cup water
2 teaspoons sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 cup sliced green olives
Mix water, sugar, and yeast.
Add rest of the dough ingredients. Knead dough.
Let rise for 90 minutes.
Put dough in greased nine by 13 aluminum pan or two nine-inch round aluminum pans.
Poke dimples in the dough.
Mix topping ingredients until combined.
Spread topping evenly over dough.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
