This yummy dessert is a combination of sweet and tangy, crunchy and creamy. Its light pink color and refreshing fruit flavor make it perfect for a Shabbos dessert, Melaveh Malkah, or family get-together. It’s soooo easy to put together too and looks so appealing when served. Everyone will love it!
1 (20-oz./567-g.) can Gefen Pineapple pieces
2 medium, firm bananas, halved lengthwise and sliced
1 (16-oz./454-g.) can Gefen Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1/2 a small container Gefen Non-dairy Topping
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts, roasted
Drain the pineapple juice into a medium bowl; set the pineapple aside, but first crush it in the food processor or with a hand blender. Add the bananas to rest in the juice for a few moments.
Beat the topping in a mixer until it is fluffy. Lower speed and gently stir in the cranberry sauce, drained bananas, pineapple pieces, and nuts.
Pour into a 9- x 13-inch pan. Freeze until solid.
Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before cutting.
