Diets Moist, chocolate-y, and sheer perfection is how I would describe these ultimate brownies. They are dense on the inside and have a gorgeous crust that’s a tad cracked on top, giving it that rustic, homemade feel. These brownies are just too good to resist. In my house we always double the recipe.
2 cups sugar
1 cup Glicks Flour
2/3 cup Gefen Cocoa Powder
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons Gefen Cocoa Powder
3 tablespoons hot water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined. Add oil and eggs and mix until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool.
Mix confectioners’ sugar, oil, cocoa powder, and hot water until smooth. Pour over cooled brownies.

The first time l made this, I kept putting it back in the oven bc it looked so raw. It came out yummy, but chewy. The second time, (it was good and easy enough that I tried again!) I made 2 and took one out after 45 minutes even though it still looked liquidy to me. To my surprise and everyone’s delight, it became a gooey brownie which was completely polished off. TY!
Excellent – fudgy but not too sticky, cuts well. I did not use chocolate chips in batter and it does not need them. They are very rich ad I don’t think they need a glaze.
this was so easy…I used vanilla extract instead of vanilla sugar because I didn’t have vanilla sugar. I only had an 8×8 pan so I halved all the ingredients and it worked perfectly BH. so yummy
So disappointing. Not thick/ not cracked on top. Very blah brownie. I followed recipe
exactly- not complicated. Wouldn’t recommend.
YUM! it was very moist and my family loved it! (for me, it needed to be baked for 40 min instead for 30)
The most delicious brownies ever!!
This is perfect and perfectly easy. The result is fudgy and soft. And yum!
