I never expected this to be such a hit! I serve it almost every Friday night, but more often than not, it’s nearly gone by Thursday evening.
1 head white cabbage, checked and shredded
2 tablespoons oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
1 onion, diced
soy sauce (use a wheat-free version for gluten-free), to taste (I use Kikkoman)
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion until golden and fragrant.
Add the cabbage and continue sautéing until it begins to soften. Drizzle in some soy sauce and stir continuously to ensure even flavor distribution. Serve warm.

I find that adding about 1/2 cup of water towards the end of the cooking time softens the cabbage and adds flavor as well.
