Diets Who doesn’t love good old sesame noodles? We all do. They are often served for shalosh seudos, kiddushim, simchahs — you name it. I think it’s time for a new take on the classic and this is it. You will absolutely love this recipe; it’s not too spicy, not too sweet, and has no sesame oil, for those who are allergic. It’s the perfect carby addition to your shalosh seudos spread.
1/3 cup neutral oil
1 head garlic, minced
1/3 cup cilantro or parsley, finely chopped, plus more for finishing
1/3 cup scallions, thinly sliced, plus more for finishing
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 cup Glicks Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Glicks Teriyaki Sauce
1 pound Manischewitz Noodles, cooked al dente and drained
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic, cilantro and scallions and sauté for one minute.
Add chili flakes and sugar and continue stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add soy sauce and teriyaki sauce and bring to a simmer.
Add noodles and mix well to incorporate. Finish with additional cilantro and scallions and toss to coat.
