Gluten-Free Cholent

My family loves this cholent! You must use brown rice here. Regular will disintegrate.

Directions

1. To use a plastic crockpot liner, fill crockpot with a cup of water followed by liner.
2. Set crockpot to low. Dice onion. Heat oil over medium heat and saute until slightly brown about five minutes.
3. Peel and quarter potatoes and place in crockpot.
4. Place all ingredients but meat (and kishka if using) in crockpot. Mix. Place meat on top.
5. Cover and cook overnight.
