Diets Looking for an amazing after-school snack that is packed with flavor and so easy to make? Then you’re going to want to make Goldie’s homemade chips and salsa!
For those of you who give this recipe a try, see if you can make a longer cheese pull than Goldie makes in her video!
3 medium tomatoes
1/4 small red onion
2 to 3 teaspoons of chopped fresh cilantro (or 3 frozen cubes)
2 teaspoons ketchup
dash of salt
dash of cayenne pepper
flour tortillas
shredded cheese (as much as you like, any type)
2 tablespoons of butter (you could also use oil if you don’t have butter)
optional vegetables – onions, peppers, olives, or avocados
Dice finely the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro.
Place in a bowl.
Add ketchup, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Add butter to a hot frying pan.
When the butter is fully melted, add the tortillas, and wait for air pockets to form.
When that happens, add the cheese and/or your favorites vegetables.
Fold over once.
