Diets Looking to upgrade your green bean game? You’re guaranteed to wipe the plate clean with this version. The mushrooms and pastrami add tons of flavor.
1/2 cup oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
28 ounces green beans, washed and thoroughly dried
8 ounces button or baby bella mushrooms, washed, dried, and diced
6 ounces pastrami, diced
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Salt
1/4 teaspoon ground Gefen Black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
In a wok or pot, heat the oil.
Fry green beans for three minutes, then remove from the pot and set aside.
Discard most of the oil that remains in the pot, leaving just a bit (for step 4, below).
Add mushrooms and pastrami and sauté five to 10 minutes.
In a serving bowl, mix together green beans, sautéed mushrooms and pastrami, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
