Diets A tart, refreshing take on classic sorbet, this green apple treat is bright, crisp, and a delicious new flavor to try!
4 green apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice, such as Tuscanini
juice of 2 green apples
juice of 1/2 lemon or 2 tablespoons Tuscanini Lemon Juice
1/4 cup liquid sugar
Peel, core, and chop four green apples. Toss with one tablespoon lemon juice and freeze until solid.
To make liquid sugar: Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup water in a small pot. Heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cool before using.
Juice two green apples using a juicer, or grate them in a food processor and squeeze out the juice.
Blend the frozen apples with the fresh apple juice, lemon juice, and liquid sugar until smooth and creamy.
