These remind me of a favorite chicken we used to order in a restaurant that closed down years ago. They are saucy and sticky, with just a bit of heat.

Prepare Chicken
-
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
-
Rub the drumsticks lightly with oil to avoid sticking to the grates.
-
Place the drumsticks on the grill and cover. Let cook for about 20 minutes, turning once or twice during cook time.
-
If there are flare-ups, try to move the chicken to a different part of the grill.
-
Meanwhile, combine the ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a bowl and mix well.
-
Brush cooked chicken liberally with sauce immediately after removing chicken from grill.
-
Sprinkle with scallions and let sit for five minutes before serving.

Replies:It can, but the taste that grilling tastes will be missing. But the sauce is great, nonetheless.
-
Apricot jam missing
The recipe does not list apricot jam in the ingredient list but it is mentioned in the instructions. How much apricot jam should I use?Replies:Whoops! looks like that apricot jam is a mistake. Thanks you for pointing it out! It's corrected now.
