A quick, easy, and different way to serve hamburgers. The chopped meat is grilled alone and served with a sauce that is finger-lickin’ good!
1 kilogram (or 2.2 pounds) chopped meat or turkey
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon onion soup mix
1 teaspoon Gefen Sesame Oil, may use other oil
3–4 tablespoons canned Gefen Pineapple pieces, diced
3/4 cup pineapple juice, from the can
1 teaspoon Gefen Cornstarch, optional
Form chopped meat into approximately 12 hamburgers.
Grill for a few minutes on each side until done, but still soft and juicy. Set aside.
Place all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over small-to-medium flame until thickened, stirring constantly with a whisk.
To serve, either heat the hamburgers in the sauce and then serve, or serve the hamburgers as they are and spoon the sauce over them before eating.

confused I’m super confused… the only ingredient going into the actual burger is meat?
Also, can you please clarify the option to coat the burgers in the sauce and then “heat” them? You mean to grill them in the sauce?
Please clarify
Hi- this recipe seems to not be very clear, I am looking into all your questions for you.
In terms of the ‘heat’ them in the sauce- it seems as if you would cook the burgers first and then warm them up in the sauce or you can heat the sauce and hamburger separately and just put the sauce on top of the burger.
