Hungarian Cabbage and Noodles

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound shredded cabbage

  • 1/3 cup oil

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Directions

Sauté

1.

Sauté cabbage and spices in oil for 1 hour over low heat, stirring occasionally.  

Variation:

Shredded kohlrabi may be substituted for cabbage.

Combine

1.

Combine with noodles, mix thoroughly and cook for 5-10 minutes or until thoroughly reheated.

Easy and delicious! Extremely easy to make and tastes really good. I like that it gives you exact measurements to follow.
