Diets A fun new take on the traditional Chanukah latke, this is a great activity for the kids and an exciting party idea. You can add any vegetables on the pizzas before baking. Yield: 1 9-inch pizza
3 potatoes, shredded
2 eggs
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon Gefen Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Gefen Onion Powder
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup Tuscanini Tomato Sauce
1 cup shredded cheese
In a large bowl, mix potatoes, eggs, oil, and spices.
In a frying pan, heat enough oil to cover the bottom. Spoon potato mixture on top and flatten it. Fry on both sides until brown.
Transfer to a baking sheet and spread on sauce and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about eight minutes, until cheese melts.
