These lemon mint limonana ice pops feel like you’ve booked yourself a vacation. Inspired by the beloved Middle Eastern drink limonana, the name itself is a mashup of “limon” (lemon) and “nana” (mint), a famously icy, slushy blend that’s basically the most refreshing lemonade turned all the way up, with a little bit of mint to keep things fresh and sweet! These ice pops carry that same breezy, sun-soaked energy in every bite. They’re the kind of treat that instantly puts you in a good mood. Bright, playful, and gone just a little too quickly.
Bottom line: This isn’t just an ice pop — it’s a mini vacation on a stick.
Yields 12 ice pops
3 cups water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice or Tuscanini Lemon Juice
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
Bring water to a boil. Add sugar and stir until fully dissolved, creating a simple syrup.
Remove from heat and stir in the fresh lemon juice.
Transfer the mixture to a blender. Add the mint leaves and blend until completely smooth and the mint is broken down so finely it almost looks like flecks of black pepper.
Pour the mixture into ice pop molds, filling each one almost to the top (leave a little space for expansion as they freeze).
Insert sticks and freeze until solid. Enjoy!
