Diets 1 pound (450-grams) Gefen Elbows, cooked according to package directions
1 (6-ounce/170-gram) package beef fry
3 tablespoons Gefen Pure Maple Syrup
14 ounces (400 grams) raw cashews
2 and 1/2 cups cold cashew milk
handful of ice cubes
2–3 cloves garlic or 2–3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 teaspoons turmeric
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
Lay out slices of beef fry on a baking sheet. Do not overlap. Drizzle with maple syrup and bake for eight to 10 minutes.
Refrigerate until cool. Chop into bits.
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Transfer sauce to a saucepan. Warm over low heat and pour over pasta. Top pasta with beef fry and serve immediately.
