Diets This is a light and delicious side dish. You can spice it however you’d like, top with your favorite nuts…it’ll always be a winner.
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cups frozen Brussels sprouts, thawed and halved
1/3 cup Gefen Maple Syrup
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
3 tablespoons toasted sunflower seeds
Heat a wide, heavy duty pan on medium-high heat for five minutes, then add the oil and Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring, for 10 minutes. Once the Brussels sprouts are browned and tender but not mushy, pour in the maple syrup and turn off the flame. Toss until Brussels sprouts are coated.
Add salt and pepper to taste and top with toasted sunflower seeds. Serve warm or at room temperature.

what else can be used as a topping besides nuts
You could use toasted pumpkin seeds or any seed would give it that crunch.
