Meet your new favorite rice recipe! This Marsala rice is so tasty and flavorful that it deserves to be a meal by itself.
1 cup Pereg Rice
2 tablespoons oil
1 medium white onion, diced
1 box fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons onion soup mix diluted in 1/2 cup hot water
2 tablespoons Haddar Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Kedem Marsala Wine
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Heat oil in a medium-sized pan.
Sauté the onions until they are golden brown.
Add the mushrooms and the remaining ingredients.
Add the rice along with two cups of water.
Reduce the flame, cover the pot, and let it cook for about 15 minutes, or until most of the water has evaporated.
