1 cup / 2 sticks margarine
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 and 1/2 cups flour
1 container (425 milliliters) non dairy whipped topping
1/2 or 3/4 of a bag instant vanilla pudding
dreidels
flowers
macaroons
chocolate menorah (make with menorah chocolate molds)
sprinkles/covered lentils….You can decorate it with anything!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cream margarine and sugar in your mixer bowl.
Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
Add the flour and baking powder, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Dough will be stiff.
Roll out the cookie dough on a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Use a large circle cookie cutter and make lots of circles. For the center I turned over a small piping tip to make the center hole so it should be a doughnut.
Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Remove from the oven and cool on a rack.
Take three cookies.
Put whip in a piping bag and pip small circles all over onto all three cookies.
Now stack the cookies one on top of each other, forming a tower. You will have three cookies stacked with cream between each layer.
Now it’s time to decorate! This part is a lot of fun and very simple! No right or wrong ways. Just place decorations all over. Make sure not to overcrowd the cookie.
Put the cookies into a doughnut box, serve and enjoy!
