Mini Rolls for a Crowd


Make them for your next simcha and reap the compliments!


Prepare the Dough

1. Crumble yeast into a bowl with warm water. Add one-fourth cup sugar. Set aside until it bubbles.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in mixer (except the egg for glazing), adding yeast mixture last. Mix for 10 minutes.

Shape and Bake

1. Separate challah and form small rolls. (Read more about hafrashat challah here.)
2. Place on baking sheet. Brush with egg. Bake for 20 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
