Prepare the Mirin-Garlic Glazed Skewers

  1. In a bowl, combine sugar, garlic, mirin, oil, salt, and pepper. Add chicken, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

  2. Preheat oven to broil. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.

  3. Thread chicken onto 18 skewers. Place on the prepared baking sheet and broil on high for six minutes, or until cooked through.
