A delicious authentic Moroccan Salmon with carrots and potatoes, infused with all those delicious flavors! For more cooking with kids, watch Kitchen Kids!
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
4 medium carrots
4 medium potatoes
4 pieces salmon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons turmeric
5 cloves garlic, sliced
2 cubes frozen cilantro
1 and 1/4 cups water
Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan.
Peel and chop the carrots and potatoes.
Add carrots and potatoes to the pan and then cook for about three minutes.
Place one tablespoon of oil in another pan. Add the salmon, sprinkle the salt and pepper, and sear for about three minutes.
Add the remaining seasonings and water to the vegetables.
Move salmon into the vegetable pan. Cover and cook for half an hour.
