Mushroom Quiche

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups Glicks Flour

  • 1 and 1/2 sticks butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup seltzer

Mushroom Quiche Filling

  • 3 onions, diced

  • 1/2 stick butter, for sautéing

  • 2 cans sliced mushrooms, such as Glicks

  • 2 teaspoons Glicks Flour

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 package pizza cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Gefen Salt

Directions

1.

Combine dough ingredients by hand. Press into a 9×13 baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Sauté onions in butter until translucent. Add mushrooms and sauté for another 15-20 minutes. Close flame.

3.

Add flour and mix. Slightly cool.

4.

Add eggs, spices, and cheese and mix to combine. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-45 minutes.

How many grams is 1 package pizza cheese?

One 2 pound/ 32oz bag of shredded cheese is about 907 grams- it should say on the package.
