We like to use olive oil with this and other chicken recipes. It’s healthier and adds a mellow richness to the flavor.
1 chicken, skinned and cut in eighths
1 cup flour
3 eggs
3 tablespoons Glicks Ketchup
1 cup Gefen Corn Flake Crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Gefen Parsley Flakes
oil
Prepare three bowls to coat chicken. Put flour in one bowl. Combine eggs and ketchup in another bowl. Combine corn flake crumbs and spices in a third bowl.
Prepare a 9×13-inch pan with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of oil. Dredge chicken in flour, then eggs, and lastly with crumbs. Place in pan, face-down.
Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over and bake another 30 minutes.

What did i do wrong? The crumbs all came off when i turned the chicken. 🙁
I make something similar (Esti Wolbes recipe). Try using oil spray, and don’t cover it. Bake it a little longer before you turn it. Some of the crumbs will still fall off, but they are very tasty.
it is my favorite supper recipe. i spray heavily with pam to crisp instead of oil.
