Ingredients

Overnight Salt-and-Pepper Kugel

  • 10 ounces (280 grams) Gefen Fine or medium noodles

  • 3 eggs

  • 6 ounces (170 grams) oil

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees Celsius).

Cook the pasta in salted water until cooked through, then drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and pour into a lined nine-inch (23-centimeter) round pan. Cover tightly with two layers of foil and bake overnight, until the edges are brown and crispy.

Alternatively, preheat oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135 degrees Celsius) and bake for five to seven hours. Enjoy!

Notes:

Store in the refrigerator for four to five days. Can be frozen after baking for up to two months. (Don’t freeze raw- the texture will be affected.)
