1. If desired, dip chicken into flour and fry in oil until golden brown.
2. Arrange onion rings into 9×13 inch pan. Place chicken over onions. Combine remaining ingredients and spread onto chicken.
3. Bake, covered, at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours, and uncovered for an additional 15 minutes. Sauce makes a delicious gravy for rice or farfel, etc.
