Allergens
Diets 6 eggs, separated
1 and 1/2 cups sugar
1 and 3/4 cups ground walnuts, divided
3/4 cup Manischewitz Matzo Meal
3/4 cup Gefen Potato Starch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup orange juice
3 to 4 tablespoons Manischewitz Honey, warmed
Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
Separately beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored. Add sugar, beating until thick.
Combine one and a half cups nuts, matzo meal, potato starch, and salt and add to egg misture alternately with orange juice. Fold into beaten egg whites.
Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour. Cook in pan for 15 minutes before removing.
Brush top of warm cake with honey. Sprinkle 1/4 cup walnuts on top.
