Pinata Cupcakes

Pinata cupcakes are cupcakes with a surprise inside. You can put anything inside, but I like to use sprinkles. You can use a mix or the same kind.

Ingredients

Cupcakes

  • your favorite cupcake recipe (I used Miriam Pascal’s vanilla cupcake)

  • your favorite colored icing

  • 1/2 cup sprinkles, for topping

Directions

Prepare the Cupcakes

1.

Prepare a batch of your favorite cupcakes.

2.

Make a batch of your favorite colored icing.

3.

Once the cupcakes are cooled, cut a circle about an inch deep into your cupcakes. Scoop out the cake. Fill the hole with sprinkles, gently pressing in. Spread icing over the top of the cupcake.

4.

Add more sprinkles on top of the cupcakes.
