Who says being a grown-up means you can never eat pizza? Enjoy this delicious “crossover” dish guilt-free, as it is also low in fat.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons oregano

  • 1 (8-ounce) bag mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup Beleaf Frozen Broccoli Florets, thawed on the counter for 15 minutes (optional)

Directions

Prepare the Pizza Quiche

1.

Bake pie shell for 15 minutes; remove from oven and let cool.

2.

In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, milk, eggs, marinara sauce, and flour. Mix well. Add mozzarella cheese, oregano, and broccoli; mix to combine.

3.

Pour filling into pie shell and bake for 45 minutes to one hour.

4.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Notes:

This quiche freezes very nicely. Bake it and let it cool down. Wrap it up very well and freeze. When you’re ready to serve, place frozen quiche in oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes (or until warm).

Could I substitute sour cream or yogurt for the mayo? My husband can’t eat mayo.

Delicious! I make this all the time. Even my kids who don’t eat vegetables go for this. I also add mushrooms, sautéed onions and peppers if I have

Thanks for the great recipe!

I think I’ll skip the crust, as melted cheese and flour will hold it.

Incredible! This was very quick and easy to put together, and was delicious! I made two for my extended family for melave malka and it was much enjoyed by all. A great change from the classic quiche, and a flavour loved by all. I did it with the broccoli and would add a teaspoon of salt next time, and maybe some fried onions as suggested by another reviewer. Thank you Chayie and kosher.com!

Excellent change! It was delicious! Nice change from the regular quiches. I added in fried onions and would recommend that. Great recipe!
