Diets This pretty, old-fashioned Hungarian Plum Pie combines a light, flaky dough with luscious sweet plums. A beautiful way to work more of the season’s bounty onto your table.
1 cup sugar
4 ounces margarine (use soy-free if needed)
1 cup Glicks Flour
1 teaspoon Gefen Baking Powder
pinch of salt
2 eggs
8 Hungarian plums, halved
Mix first six ingredients well. Pour into a nine-inch pie pan.
Arrange plums, round side up, onto batter.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40–50 minutes.
