Diets This simple fruit salad is a quick, healthy dessert. In summer, try freezing this in cups with an upside down spoon in the center. Take off the cup and it’s a refreshing, healthy after-school or Shabbos afternoon treat.
1 (16-ounce) container strawberries in sauce
2 small cans Gefen Mandarin Oranges
2 cans Gefen Pineapple Tidbits
6 to 8 yellow apples
1 cup green grapes
1 cup red grapes
2 kiwifruit
1 banana, optional
Pour container of strawberries with the sauce into large bowl.
Drain mandarin oranges and pineapple and add to the strawberries.
Dice apples and add to bowl. Add grapes and toss gently.
Immediately before serving, peel and dice kiwis and bananas, and add to salad.
