1. Knead all ingredients until smooth.
2. Roll out to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut to two and a half inch circles. Cut center of each cookie.
3. Fry in hot oil for one minute on each side.
4. In separate pot, bring honey to a boil.
5. Drop rendlech into honey to coat.
6. Cover and cook for two to three minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.
7. Sprinkle with ground walnuts while still hot. Cook and refrigerate.
