Plain rice can get kind of boring. This really takes it up a notch!
1 onion, diced
oil, for sautéing
2 Polish sausages, cut in small pieces
1/3 cup Gefen Honey
2 tablespoons Glicks Soy Sauce (or gluten free soy sauce)
1 and 1/2 cups uncooked white rice, such as Pereg Jasmine Rice
3 cups water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sauté onion in oil until golden, about 10 minutes, stirring often to avoid burning. Add sausage and sauté another five minutes. Add honey and soy sauce and sauté another two minutes.
Place rice, water, and onion mixture in a 9×13-inch pan and cover tightly. Bake in preheated oven for one hour.
