Diets These muffins are so delicious and are a breeze to make with the help of Manischewitz’s extra moist chocolate cake mix. Enjoy over Yom Tov as a snack or breakfast, or take on a Chol Hamoed trip. Shaindy shows us how to make these Passover muffins on Just Make It!
Yield: 6 muffins
1 box Manischewitz Extra Moist Chocolate Cake, plus the needed ingredients listed on the back of the box
8 ounces cream cheese
5 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract OR 1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Whisk filling ingredients until fully combined.
Follow directions on the box to make the chocolate cake batter in a separate bowl, then set aside.
Place muffin liners in a cupcake tin. Using an ice cream scooper, scoop cake batter into the muffin liner. Add a scoop of cheese filling on top, then another scoop of cake batter.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Optional- once cooled, drizzle chocolate frosting on top of muffins.
