A warm and decadent dessert that is perfect after a long Seder. These are transformed by simply adding broken up chocolate to the batter. If you like this doctored-up cake mix recipe, you’ll love our other ideas for transforming cake mixes into extra special desserts. Yields: 4 lava cakes
1/2 cup cold water
1 large egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
chocolate bar, broken into pieces
Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar, for garnish (optional)
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine the cake mix ingredients according to package directions.
Grease ramekins and divide the cake batter among them. Gently press a piece of chocolate into the center of the lava cake.
Bake for 12 minutes, or until the sides of the cakes are firm but the centers are soft.
Garnish with confectioners’ sugar, if desired.

Is this truly kosher for Passover? Cake mixes usually have flour in them… I am not from the States but in Israel.
