Sweet and tangy Israeli silan and amba marinated chicken.
12 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 tablespoon amba
2 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Date Syrup
1 tablespoon Gefen Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons sliced chives or green onion, for garnish
Mix all the ingredients except the chicken and set aside half the marinade.
Add the boneless skinless chicken thighs to half the marinade and mix well.
Allow to sit in fridge covered for two to 12 hours.
Set your grill so half is on high and half is on low.
Start by searing the chicken on the high heat side for two minutes each side and move to low heat side for five more minutes each side (covered).
Transfer to plate and drizzle the reserved marinade.
Garnish with chives.
