Diets Try something new this Chanukah! Different than donuts, but amazing on flavor! This restaurant quality dessert takes just a few minutes to make.
Yields 2 large funnel cakes
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Galilee’s Delicacy Silan (date syrup)
1 egg
tahini
shredded halva
sesame seeds
Whisk together the batter ingredients. Transfer to a plastic cup.
In a large pan, heat oil to a good frying temperature. Drizzle the batter in swirling, round motions from the cup into the pan. Fry for about a minute on both sides. Drain on a paper towel.
Top with date syrup, tahini, shredded halva and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
