Full of flavor and easy to make, this chicken recipe is sure to please.
2 pounds chicken cutlets
18 ounces barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons apple juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
salt, to taste
Add the chicken to the slow cooker.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl and pour over the chicken.
Mix until combined.
Cook on high for two to three hours, until soft and easy to shred.
Shred the chicken with two forks and mix until chicken is well coated in sauce.
Serve in hamburger buns, or on baked potatoes or baked sweet potatoes cut in half.
