This is not your typical pulled beef! Beef barbacoa is a Mexican dish with lots of deep flavors. It’s sure to be enjoyed by everyone.

Directions

Prepare the Slow Cooker Beef Barbacoa

1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for six to eight hours.
2. Using two forks, shred the meat directly in the slow cooker. Cook for an additional hour.
3. Garnish and serve with wraps, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Tips:

You can reduce the amount of peppers and/or sauce for less of a kick.

Variations:

If you can’t find chipotle chili peppers, you can use liquid smoke instead.
