Diets A while ago, a friend of mine taught me the secret to making the softest chocolate chip cookies—pudding mix! This recipe is soft bite cookies 2.0 and just as easy to make. My family finished the entire batch in one evening.
Yield: 3 dozen cookies
1 cup trans-fat free margarine
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 package Gefen Instant Vanilla Pudding
2 eggs
2 and 1/2 cups Glicks Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
3 tablespoons Gefen Cocoa
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
In a bowl of an electric mixer, cream margarine and sugars until fully combined.
Add pudding, eggs, flour, and baking soda.
Mix until just combined, then add chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
Remove half of dough.
Mix cocoa into remaining dough. This can be done by hand.
Take approximately 1/2 tablespoon of each dough and roll into a cookie. Repeat with remaining dough.
Bake for 13–15 minutes until bottom is set.
Let cool on baking sheet before transferring to a container. Cookies will continue baking and firm up a bit.

Can I use chocolate pudding powder, or is the chocolate going to be too much?
You could, but then the whole cookie would be chocolate 🙂
I made these a while back when it came out in the voice. They are incredible and get eaten up so fast! Make sure to double the recipe!
how many grams are the gefen pudding packages? I buy their bulk 1kg package.
3.5 oz/99 g
These cookies are excellent even by subbing with oil for margarine! So good!
