These delicious chocolate cookies are what chocolate dreams are made of. Large, soft, and chocolatey, these cookies are dipped into extra chocolate for good measure. Not only are these amazing, but they are beautiful and come out perfect every time!
1 and 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup Gefen Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
6 ounces margarine
1 and 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 pound chocolate bits (optional)
1/2 cup parve whipped topping
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
4 and 1/2 ounces dark chocolate
1 ounce white chocolate
Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, scraping bowl after each egg.
Add vanilla extract and chocolate, mixing well.
Add dry ingredients and chocolate bits. Combine.
Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes. Do not overbake.
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until mixture has thickened.
Dip half of each cookie and allow to set.
