Crepe cakes are a really fun Passover trend, and this copycat of Faigy Grossman's Strawberry Crepe Pie shows how to make your holiday preparations that much easier by using store-bought Gefen crepe batter – these days, who isn't looking for a shortcut? Watch this showstopper come to life in the accompanying video.

Make the Cake

  1. Prepare crepes according to package directions.

  2. Blend together strawberries and confectioner's sugar until completely combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whip up the whipped topping.

  4. Lay one crepe on a cake platter. Spread whipped topping over, then a layer of strawberry puree, then another crepe, more whipped topping, and more puree. Continue layering until desired height is reached.
