Diets A healthful, beautiful, and refreshing sweet starter that’s also a great option for a milchig kiddush.
2 cups frozen strawberries, thawed for 30 minutes
1 cup Beleaves Frozen Peaches or mangoes, thawed for 30 minutes
1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon Gefen Vanilla Extract
1/4 cup sugar or Gefen Honey
1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey
1 cup walnut halves
dash of salt
Prepare ambrosia: place fruit in a smoothie maker or food processor.
Pulse until mostly smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl; stir in remaining ingredients.
Prepare caramelized walnuts: in a frying pan over low heat, melt butter.
Add honey, walnuts, and salt.
Cook for three to five minutes, stirring often, until browned.
To serve, spoon about half a cup ambrosia into individual bowls or cups. Top with caramelized walnuts.
