Diets This is a refreshing dessert for a hot, summer day. Pureeing the fruits twice gives ices that “melt-in-your-mouth” texture.
2 cups strawberries, frozen
1/2–1 cup sugar, to taste
1 cup orange juice
juice of 1 lemon or about 3 tablespoons Gefen Lemon Juice
1 cup water
2 cups mango, frozen, such as Beleaves
1/2–1 cup sugar, or to taste
1 cup orange juice
1 cup mango nectar
juice of 1 lemon or about 3 tablespoons Gefen Lemon Juice
In a food processor or blender, puree all ingredients until smooth.
Place puree in the freezer for approximately six hours.
Return frozen ices to food processor and blend again.
Spread in the bottom of a loaf pan and return to the freezer for two hours.
