Diets 1/2 pound string beans, cut into 1″ pieces
2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 cup water
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
Blanch vegetables and drain well.
Combine ingredients for dressing and pour over vegetables. Serve chilled.
