- Tree nuts1 pound frozen French-style green beans
1 onion, diced
5 cloves garlic
1 red pepper, chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 ounces slivered almonds
Steam string beans over low heat for 15-20 minutes.
In a separate pot, sauté onion until transparent.
Add pepper, garlic and salt and sauté for 15-20 minutes. Remove and discard garlic.
Combine peppers with green beans.
Add almonds and reheat thoroughly.
